(SGI) - The current appreciation of the US dollar will certainly help export businesses to benefit more, however behind these benefits there are still many rising concerns such as the rising global inflation. It also seems that the pressure is becoming quite high on exporters for deliveries in the last months of the year.

(SGI) - Although global inflation is a reality, the general feeling is that inflation is still under control. However, continued rising inflation is bound to affect the efforts of the Government to make full economic recovery. Now it is to be seen which efforts and factors will be the focus in adjusting and containing rising inflation.

Central Banks concerned about rising inflation

(SGI) - At the annual meeting of the European Central Banks (ECB) held at the end of June, leaders of the US, U.K., and ECB Central Banks expressed their views on the need to act quickly to tackle rising inflation. This could also be another way to say they want to continue to raise interest rates in coming months.
The growth forecast of the global economy in 2022 and 2023 is much less optimistic than in 2021.

Rising interest rate no solution for inflation

(SGI) - At the World Economic Forum in Davos in May 2022, Professor Joseph Eugene Stiglitz, the American economist and public policy analyst, told Bloomberg that the rising interest rate would not solve the inflation problem nor would it help in creating more food sources.

(SGI) - The GDP growth in the first quarter of 2022 is estimated to increase by 5.03% year-on-year, higher than that of 2020 and 2021, marking a return to a 5% growth or more after many difficult years.
