Foxconn subsidiary Foxconn Singapore has been granted a license to invest US$383 million (NT$124 billion) in a new printed circuit board (PCB) plant in Vietnam.
The factory will be built in Bac Ninh, a province in northern Vietnam. The plant will produce up to 2.79 million products annually, according to Reuters.
The investment adds to Foxconn's existing presence in Vietnam. It has invested more than US$3.2 billion, primarily in the northern provinces of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang.
